January 2010 Single Family Inventory

Inventory in the Pacific Northwest hit an all-time low in December. January has started the seasonal "uptick" in inventory levels, however, pending sales were strong for the area. Inventory should remain low and demand will continue to increase as we approach the spring months. It's a good time to sell!

Whatcom County is following the greater Puget Sound numbers (above). Inventory levels were at the low in December and will grow over the next several months.

Bellingham's inventory remains low. With a slight uptick in inventory (which is anticipated to continue through the spring), Bellinghame's inventory is at historic lows. However, sales did not increase as they have throughout the greater area. Spring months should see increased sale activity.
